Ever since I was a little girl, I have been interested in crafts. It began with my step-mother and her showing me how to cross stitch. There are a few reasons why I love crafts, but the main reason is the chance it gives to share with family. We teach each other and show each other our progress. We each have our own specialty, but everyone is interested in each others’ crafts.
We have the most fun during the KY State Fair. It has been a family tradition, for as long as I can remember. You can enter in competitive departments (sewing, cross-stitch, painting, photography, etc) and we go the first day of the Fair, to see how everyone did (ribbons!)
As you can see, we’re there before the doors open.
